أَلُو، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، مَعَكَ أَحْمَدُ فِي الْمُحَادَثَةِ

Hello, peace be upon you; this is Ahmad speaking.

هَلْ يُمْكِنُنِي التَّحَدُّثُ إِلَى السَّيِّدِ خَالِدٍ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ؟

May I please speak with Mr. Khalid?

انْتَظِرْ لَحْظَةً وَاحِدَةً عَلَى الْخَطِّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Please hold the line for just one moment.

الصَّوْتُ يَتَقَطَّعُ، لَا أَسْمَعُكَ بِوُضُوحٍ يَا أَخِي

The voice is breaking up; I cannot hear you clearly, brother.

الرَّجَاءُ رَفْعُ صَوْتِكَ قَلِيلًا، الشَّبَكَةُ ضَعِيفَةٌ هُنَا

Please speak up a little; the mobile network is weak here.

سَأُعَاوِدُ الِاتِّصَالَ بِكَ بَعْدَ قَلِيلٍ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ

هَلْ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تَتْرُكَ لَهُ رِسَالَةً هَاتِفِيَّةً؟

Would you like to leave a phone message for him?

أَخْبِرْهُ بِأَنَّنِي اتَّصَلْتُ بِهِ بِشَأْنِ الْمَوْعِدِ

Please inform him that I called regarding our appointment.
